Was thrilled to visit The Gem Expo and The Meta Expo – the second series of shows for 2026 to find so many beautiful gems, minerals and jewellery treasures, alongside the fascinating psychics, astrologists and holistic healers who are on show this weekend at the Hyatt Regency Hotel on King St West (just E of Spadina) in downtown Toronto. Open until 8pm tonight then 11am-7pm Saturday and 11am-6pm Sunday (tkts & info at bottom of story). First, let me intro you to Salim Moorani, who has built this event into a 3x a year gathering over the past 15 years
I entered the gems & minerals hall first, stopping to see (and touch!) the beautiful sparkly treasures….
From one of my favourite exhibitors…dragons and fairies and goblets, oh my!
I also loved this wee dragonfly that could sit lightly on any rock collection you may have…
And would you believe these (below) are actually nightlights? How exquisite…
So many vendors, so many different stones and gems for collectors and makers.

Those copper beakers and water bottles (above) are wonderful and so healthy to drink from…and how about this singing bowl?
You can book readings, reiki sessions, aura readings with the exhibitors and be surrounded by positive energy and calmness in the hall.
